Bio

Alexandra Spieth is a director, actor, and writer based in Astoria, Queens. She has directed two feature films, “Stag” and “I Know Exactly How You Die”  (streaming on Prime and Tubi). She is in pre-production for her third feature film, “O Country”. 

Alexandra created, wrote, and starred in the series “86’d” (executive produced and funded by BRIC TV) and “Blank My Life”.  She has performed in 20 Equity plays. She’s one of the founders of “ArtBuffet” a monthly variety show at the Irondale Space. Additionally, Alexandra taught on-camera acting at MGSA Rutgers University and directed the 2023 and 2024 MGSA Digital Showcases.

Alexandra is a member of NYWIFT, FilmShop, and Film Fatales. She is the recipient of the George A. Romero Fellowship, an Orchard Project alum, and LIFF Artist of the “Write by the Beach” program. 

She trained as an actor at Carnegie Mellon University where she received a BFA in Acting (winner of the Adelyne Roth Levine Memorial Award for Excellence in Acting).
