Alexandra Spieth

Alexandra Spieth is an actor, writer, director, and lecturer of On-Camera Acting and Director of the Digital Showcase at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Alexandra is a two time feature director of “Stag” and “I Know Exactly How You Die”. She’s in pre-production for her third written and directed feature “O Country”.

“Stag” has screened at Brooklyn Film Festival, Female Eye Film Festival (Winner of “Best Chills and Thrills Feature”), GenreBlast Film Festival (Winner of “Best Director of a Feature Film”), Soho International Film Festival (Winner of the “Audience Choice Award”), Salem Horror Festival (Winner of the “George A. Romero Fellowship”), and many others.

Previous to this, Spieth had written, created, and starred in the digital series 86’d (Executive Produced and Fully Funded by BRIC TV) and Blank My Life (which spans 4 seasons). Additionally, Alexandra is the co-founder of Irondale’s ArtBuffet and a member of NYC’s Filmshop. From 2016-2019, Alexandra toured a one-woman show about rape culture in our communities to colleges and universities across America.

Alexandra has acted in over 20 professional productions, including work at Irondale Ensemble, Everyman Theatre, and NYC’s The Public Theatre. She is a Carnegie Mellon University Grad (BFA in Acting, Winner of the Adelyne Roth Levine Memorial Award for Excellence in Acting).
